EdSim51’s Guide to the 8051 is a comprehensive exploration of the core of one of the world’s most popular series of 8-bit microcontrollers. It begins with the very basic operations of any microcontroller, then focuses on the 8051 itself, including the on-chip timers and serial port, interrupts, parallel ports and peripheral interfacing. All are explained in detail, with the use of many examples and diagrams.
